PERSEUS at Future PV Workshop 2025

PERSEUS partners participated in the international workshop Future-Proofing Perovskite PV: Innovations in Upscaling, Reliability, and Circularity, held from 20 to 22 May 2025 at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia. Organised by the TESTARE project, the event brought together experts in the perovskite photovoltaics (PV) field, providing a platform for exploring the advancements in science, technology, and policy shaping the future of solar energy.

PERSEUS project coordinator, Thomas Kraft from VTT, served on the scientific committee and presented the project’s core concept and objectives. The workshop also featured three insightful presentations from several partners:

  • Tanja Ivanovska (Saule) delivered a presentation titled The Prospect of Perovskite PV: Technology and Industrialisation meets the Market.

  • Veronique Gevaerts (TNO) outlined strategies in Upscaling, Interconnection and Packaging.

  • Senol Öz (Solaveni) focused on sustainability with a talk on Closed Loop Ecosystems and Green Manufacturing.

Co-organised by 14 European research projects, the three-day event included keynote lectures, technical presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. It addressed crucial themes such as tandem architecture optimisation, long-term stability, field performance, standardised measurement protocols, and circularity. With participants from across Europe and other parts of the world, the workshop underscored the importance of global collaboration in realising the full potential of perovskite PV technologies.

The PERSEUS extends its gratitude to the TESTARE project for hosting a dynamic and thought-provoking event, and to all participating partners for their contributions.
